SLOW COOKER CORNED BEEF

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 pounds corned beef brisket
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 4 potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1 head cabbage, cored and sliced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon whole black peppercorns
  • 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
  • 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Water, as needed

Instructions:

1. Preparing the Slow Cooker:

  • Place the sliced onion, minced garlic, carrots, and potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Add the beef broth to the slow cooker, ensuring the vegetables are submerged.

2. Preparing the Corned Beef:

  • Remove the corned beef brisket from its packaging and rinse it under cold water to remove any excess brine.
  • Place the brisket on top of the vegetables in the slow cooker.
