Ingredients:
1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
2 cups buttermilk
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions:
Marinate the Chicken:
Place the chicken pieces in a large bowl and pour the buttermilk over them. Make sure the chicken is fully coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
Prepare the Dredge:
In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well to combine.
