Making sure we eat a diverse and healthy diet is crucial for keeping our bodies well-nourished and maintaining a good lifestyle. Including plenty of fruits and vegetables, which are full of vitamins and minerals, is very important. In this situation, many people prefer to choose bananas.
Bananas can be used in many delicious ways, like in pies, smoothies, or just eaten on their own. They are not only versatile in cooking but also have many health benefits. Bananas are well-known for being rich in potassium and also contain good amounts of vitamin A, B vitamins, and vitamin C. They are a great addition to our diet.

However, an interesting method offers a solution that requires following a careful set of steps but ensures that bananas stay fresh for an impressive two years.
Keeping Bananas Fresh:
Storing Bananas: A Different Approach
Keeping bananas fresh for a longer time may seem challenging, but with the right methods, it can be achieved. First, get the amount of bananas you want and softly clean their peel with a toothbrush and a bit of baking soda. After washing and drying them well, cut off both ends of the bananas, slice them into pieces as thick as two fingers without peeling them, and put them aside.
Creating a safe place for bananas in glass jars.
Get one or more glass jars that hold about 700ml. Then, put the ingredients in the jars in the order given. One bay leaf, two garlic cloves, two chili pepper slices, one teaspoon each of coriander seeds, dill seeds, and a mix of white, black, green, and pink pepper with allspice.
Now, put about twelve banana slices in the jar, and then add two or three slices of chili pepper. Next, add a small amount of sugar, a bit of salt, a splash of vinegar, and some warm water.
Finishing the process to keep something safe: cleaning and keeping it in a safe place.
Before adding any raw ingredients, make sure they are properly sterilized. After filling the jar with all the ingredients, make sure to close it tightly to keep air out. Then, keep it in a cool place for two years.
