Recipe for the tonic:

Ingredients:
700 ml of apple cider vinegar (always use organic)
1/4 cup of finely chopped garlic
1/4 cup of finely chopped onion
2 fresh chillies, the hottest you can find (be careful when cleaning them, wear gloves!!!)
1/4 cup of grated ginger
2 tablespoons of grated horseradish
2 tablespoons of turmeric or two pieces of turmeric root
Preparation:
Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix them, except for the vinegar.
Transfer the mixture to a jar.
Pour in the cider vinegar and fill it completely. It is best if the jar contains 2/3 of dry ingredients, and to fill the rest with vinegar.
Close it well and shake.
Store the jar in a cool, dry place for 2 weeks. Shake well several times a day.
After 14 days, strain the mixture or better, add a gauze to extract the juice well.
Use the rest of the dry ingredients in food preparations.
Your fortifier is ready to use. You do not need to keep it in the refrigerator. It will last a long time.
