An Effective and Environmentally Friendly Approach: Using Aluminum Foil
Every day, many homeowners use their ovens to prepare wonderful meals; but, cleaning them out afterward is no picnic. Grease and burned-on debris may accumulate in the oven, making cleaning it a chore you put off until it’s unbearable to cook in. Consider using aluminum foil as a cleaner first; it’s easy, it won’t harm the environment, and it will get the job done quickly. Two methods exist for doing this.
Initial Approach: The Foil Method for Aluminum:
Take out of the oven all of the racks, trays, and other fittings.
To thoroughly clean the inside of the oven, soak a sponge or cloth in hot water mixed with a little amount of dish soap, then squeeze off excess water. Wipe down all surfaces, including the glass and walls.
The next step is to line the oven’s inside, including the glass, with aluminum foil. In an instant, the metal will cling to the liquid.
