- 1 cup (240ml) ricotta cheese
- 1 cup (100g) grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 pound (225g) Italian sausage, removed from casings
- 1/2 cup (75g) diced onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5g) dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5g) dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) olive oil
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
