Roaches are unwelcome guests that adapt easily to human habitats, and while professional extermination is an option, there are natural, kitchen-friendly remedies to eliminate them. Peppermint Oil: Known as a potent pest deterrent, peppermint oil can be an effective solution for roach infestations. Mix 15 drops of peppermint oil with 10 ounces of water and spray in roach-infested areas. This solution is safe around children and pets.
Dish Soap: Common dish soap can suffocate and kill roaches. Create a solution by mixing four tablespoons of dish detergent with one liter of water and spray it where you notice roach activity.
Coffee Grounds: Utilize coffee grounds as a natural pest lure. Place grounds in paper cups within water-filled jars near roach-prone areas. The aroma attracts roaches into this trap, from which they can’t escape.
