How to degrease and flavour your oven with white vinegar?

Cleaning the oven
First, start by thoroughly cleaning your oven from the inside. This is the most important part, and it is also the one that is most prone to stains. There are two ways to clean this compartment with white vinegar.

The spray method
Start by removing the interior racks to empty the oven. Then add half a glass of white vinegar, mix it with 1 litre of water and pour it into a spray bottle. Then spray the mixture inside the oven, insisting in particular on the parts where there are more encrustations and stains. Rub with a sponge soaked in water until all the dirt is removed.

Note: Before you start, make sure the oven is turned off and has cooled completely.

The bowl method
The second remedy is to bring 2 glasses of white vinegar to the boil. Pour them into two bowls and put them in the oven while the steam is still present. Close the oven door and leave them for about 30 minutes. In the meantime, the smoke will soften the dirt and encrustations. Once the time is up, open the door and rinse with water and white vinegar, removing the last residue.

Note: Make sure the oven has cooled down before rinsing and that the power supply has been disconnected.

Clean oven racks
Cleaning the racks
Once the oven compartment has been cleaned, proceed to clean the racks. White vinegar, with its degreasing and disinfecting properties, can also be very effective in cleaning this part of the oven.

Remove the racks and place them in the sink. Pour white vinegar into a spray bottle and spray it directly on the racks. Leave it to act for a while, then use a sponge to bring the product to all areas. Then rinse with water and scrub with a sponge to remove all traces of grease and dirt. Your racks will be brighter than ever!
