How to clean a comforter that doesn’t fit in the washing machine

Cleansing with lemon juice:

Dip a clean white cloth in a bowl of water and lemon juice, then treat stubborn stains and dirty areas of the comforter.

3. Wash a comforter in the machine:

  • Check the holes first so the filling doesn’t come out of the fabric.
  • Respect the washing temperature indicated on the label, generally between 40° and 60°.
  • Add a few tennis balls to preserve the quilt’s puffy look.
  • Check if the drum can support the weight of the duvet.
