- 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers or similar buttery crackers
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Ground Beef Mixture
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until it is fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent and fragrant, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and heated through.
Step 2: Assemble the Casserole
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the frozen hash brown potatoes with the ground beef mixture. Stir until the potatoes are evenly coated with the sauce.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the casserole.
Step 3: Prepare the Topping
- In a small bowl, combine the crushed Ritz crackers with the melted butter. Stir until the crumbs are evenly coated.
- Sprinkle the cracker mixture evenly over the top of the cheese layer.
