Sprinkle the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper over the chicken.
In a bowl, mix the rice, chicken broth, and cream of chicken soup. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
Cook:
Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and the rice is tender.
Add Cheese (Optional):
If using cheddar cheese, sprinkle it on top during the last 10-15 minutes of cooking, just to let it melt.

Shred the chicken or serve it whole with the rice. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
