Cinnamon sugar:
50g sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
Preparation:
Dissolve the dry yeast in the lukewarm milk and let it sit for about 5 to 10 minutes until foamy.
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar and salt. Add the melted butter and then pour in the yeast-milk mixture. Knead well into a smooth dough. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, until it has doubled in size.
While the dough is resting, mix the apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, raisins and chopped nuts in a bowl.
Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface. Spread the apple mixture evenly over the dough.
Roll the dough from the long side and cut it into about 12 equal slices.
