Recipe: Best French Dip Sliders
Ingredients:
- 1 package (12 count) slider buns
- 1 pound thinly sliced roast beef
- 6 slices provolone cheese, halved
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter for brushing
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
- Layer the thinly sliced roast beef on top of the bottom halves of the slider buns.
- Place a half slice of provolone cheese on top of each pile of roast beef.
- Place the top halves of the slider buns on top of the cheese to complete the sandwiches.
- In a small saucepan, combine the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Heat over medium heat until warmed through.
- Pour the warm au jus evenly over the assembled sliders in the baking dish.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the sliders are heated through and the cheese is melted.
- Remove the foil from the baking dish and brush the tops of the sliders with melted butter.
- Return the sliders to the oven and bake, uncovered, for an additional 5 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
- Serve the sliders warm with additional au jus for dipping.
