Ingredients:
- 2 pounds of beef sirloin, cut into bite-sized pieces

- 1/2 cup of red wine
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons of water
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Searing the Beef:
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the beef sirloin pieces to the skillet in batches, ensuring they are in a single layer.
- Sear the beef for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove the seared beef from the skillet and set aside.
2. Sauteing the Aromatics:
- In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and minced garlic.
- Saute the aromatics until they are softened and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
3. Deglazing the Pan:
- Pour the red wine into the skillet, using a wooden spoon to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom.
- Allow the wine to simmer for 2-3 minutes, reducing slightly.
