Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Optional garnish: chopped fresh parsley or green onions
Directions:
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the barbecue sauce, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, and paprika until well combined.
- Brush the barbecue honey glaze evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts, reserving some of the glaze for basting.
- If grilling: Place the chicken breasts on the preheated grill and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the chicken is cooked through. During the last few minutes of cooking, brush the chicken with the reserved glaze. If baking: Place the chicken breasts on a greased or lined baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the chicken is cooked through. During the last few minutes of baking, brush the chicken with the reserved glaze.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill or oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish the BBQ Honey Glazed Chicken with chopped fresh parsley or green onions, if desired, and serve hot.
