Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a cake mold.
Peel the apples and cut them into small pieces.
In a bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until the mixture becomes foamy. Add melted butter, flour, yeast and salt. Mix it up well.
Add the pistachio batter and milk, then add the apple slices to the batter.
Pour batter into mold and bake for 35-40 minutes. The cake must be golden and firm to the touch.
Serve with pistachio cream (optional).
