Apple and Cinnamon Slippers

Peel and dice the apples. Melt the butter in a frying pan, then add the apples, sugar and cinnamon. Cook over medium heat until the apples are tender and well coated.
Spread the puff pastry and cut it into squares.
Place a spoonful of apple mixture in the center of each square of dough, then fold them up to form slippers.
Seal the edges and egg yolk them.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until slippers are golden brown.
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an even more gourmet dessert.
