Old Fashioned Chocolate Pie

Pie Crust Ingredients:
1- 9-inch pie crust, either handmade or purchased
Regarding the Chocolate Filling:
1 and 3/4 cups of sugar, granulated
2/3 cup of cocoa powder that has not been sweetened.
half a cup of all- ar flour
1/4 teaspoon of salt
4 big yolks from one egg
2 cups of full-fat milk
2.5 tablespoons of unsalted butter
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
Concerning the Meringue (customary but discretionary):
four big egg whites
1/2 cup of sugar that has been ground into fine particles by hand
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Here are the steps:

Butter and flour a pie pan.
Ready your oven for baking at 350°F (175°C). Press the rolled-out pie dough into a 9-inch pie plate. Snip the corners and, if you want, crimp them.
To get a little golden crust, bake the pie dough for 10 to 12 minutes. While you make the filling, take it out of the oven and let it to cool.
Get the chocolate filling ready:
Mix the cocoa powder, sugar, flour, and salt well in a medium saucepan using a whisk.
Make sure the egg yolks and milk are combined well in another basin. Pour the milk mixture into the dry ingredients in a slow, steady stream while whisking continually to prevent lumps.
Stirring continuously, cook for 7–10 minutes over medium heat, or until the mixture comes to a boil.
